ARBES Announces Management Changes

Tomas Hlinka and Miroslav Trzil have
been appointed to the ARBES Technologies management
team
Tomas
Hlinka, previously Country Consulting Director at
ORACLE Czech and later Cluster Consulting Director for the
Oracle EE&CIS region, has been named ARBES Technologies CEO.
Miroslav Trzil, formerly Global Account Manager at IBM Czech Republic,
has been appointed Sales Director at ARBES Technologies.

The
Banking
& Finance Conference
held in early April in Baku, Azerbaijan offered ARBES Technologies the
welcome opportunity to forge new contacts and to strengthen
relationships with existing business partners. Expansion into Eastern
markets is a cornerstone of the long-term corporate strategy at ARBES.
The experience and knowledge gained from participation at the Baku
conference proved beneficial through the exposure to and recognition
from the local market, the local players and the competition.

The
ARBES OBS solution for Czech-based Penezni
dum consists of the back-office application
for operators as well as the front-office client application. The
Internet application provides clients (members of the association) with
access to their financial products via a standard browser. The service
is similar to those typically provided by large banking institutions.
AXA Investment Company Buys ARBES TOPAS

Czech investment company AXA becomes a new TOPAS system customer in March 2008
Negotiations with the AXA Investment Company, Czech Republic have
come to a successful conclusion and an agreement to purchase the ARBES
TOPAS system was signed on March 31, 2008. The
ARBES TOPAS system is designed for investment management and trading on capital markets.

The
analytic and development work on an improved module for online Direct
Market Access (DMA) in the

system was completed at the end of March 2008. System users worldwide
can place trades on investment and capital markets via terminal
services.

implementation of Banking System ARBES OBS at JSC Bank of
Georgia in February 2008
The
ARBES OBS
Internet and Mobile Banking system was successfully installed at JSC
Bank of Georgia in Tbilisi in February 2008. Bank clients can now
access their accounts and communicate with bank staff via the Internet,
a PDA device or a mobile telephone (using the WAP and Java
applications).

attended the international ITAS conference (International Transfer
Agency Summit) held in Luxembourg in late January 2008 in order to
introduce the

system and to
confirm its strong position on the market. The conference focuses on
the effects of technological development and market development within
the transfer agency field.

customer in the healthcare sector. ARBES successfully completed the
implementation of the system at the regional hospital in Pribram, Czech
Republic in October 2007.
