The support for trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange - WSE was successfully executed within the ARBES TOPAS application. ARBES Technologies has thus become the first Czech certified WSE partner - for a list of ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) see here.

Brazilian bank Banco Rural has selected the ARBES OBS banking system as the main banking system for its new banks in Portugal and in the Bahamas.  ARBES will thus successfully follow up on the implementation of its advanced banking solution on the Cape Verde islands and will now work on the implementation with a Portuguese implementation partner.

ARBES has begun to implement the ARBES OBS banking information system and the ARBES FEIS economic information system at Creditas credit union. 

The Hungarian security trader, Equilor Investment Zrt. has decided to extend its services and thus allow its clients to trade on the Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges. As the supplier of the software solution which is intended to support the business activities of the company on both these new markets, Equilor has chosen ARBES Technologies and its tried-and-true  information system ARBES TOPAS, which will be launched live in August 2011.

Air Bank, part of the PPF group, is the first bank in more than ten years to acquire a new banking license. The bank enters the market with a simple and transparent banking policy and modern user operation tools. The ARBES OBS information system will help the bank with their plans providing flexible settings, advanced configuration and unique banking products thanks to which the bank plans to quickly secure a leading position on the Czech banking market.

The CREDITAS credit union is the fourth credit union now taking advantage of ARBES experience with the implementation of banking information systems (ARBES OBS) at banks and credit unions.

ARBES Technologies has released a new version of the ARBES FEIS information system called version 12. In addition to the support of the new amendment to the VAT law, it offers the administration of the calendar, automated work with files and expanded options regarding security policy.

The MEFTEC conference is the largest specialized conference focusing on information systems for banking and finance services in the Middle East. At the fair, ARBES will focus on presenting its specialized applications for the finance sector in the areas of Core Banking (ARBES OBS), Investment Banking (ARBES TOPAS), Leasing (ARBES LEASING) and Brokerage (ARBES mBrokerage). Special emphasis will be placed on new applications for the Smartphone and tablet platforms.

The ARBES Smartphone Banking application is a full-fledged channel that makes use of all the advantages of these modern devices (geographical functionality, widgets, modern multi-level marketing, telephone functionality, etc.). In addition to the routine management of finances, the application, for instance, supports work with multiple accounts including cash and credit cards, allows for the monitoring of the structure and development of revenue and expenditures in the form of graphs, displays bank branches and ATMs on a map, offers budgeting and the monitoring of cash-flow parameters, along with a host of other features. A great advantage of the new solution is the off-line super-structure to the application that allows bank clients to manage their finances, carry out payment categorization and create budgets in the off-line mode as well.

ARBES is responding to the dynamic growth in smart mobile phone and tablet use among modern mobile device users. ARBES has included its own framework into its portfolio, on the basis of which it successfully implements applications for the banking and financial sphere; these applications work with bank data in both the online and offline modes. ARBES is currently preparing the development of an offline application for Mobile Banking Personal Money Manager, an Online Smartphone Banking application and a mobile solution for private banking and security traders.
