ARBES Has Increased Revenues by More Than 61 Percent
ARBES Technologies, a leading supplier of software solutions for banking and finance, continues to grow. The year 2012 ended with a profit of 17 MCZK, which is a 34% interannual increase. Total revenue increased by 61.5% from last year to 304.6 MCZK.
A significant share of the total company turnover were sales for our own products and services, which have increased interannually by more than 65% to reach 277.5 MCZK, this mainly because of the implementation of an elaborate banking system project at AirBank. The sale of our own information systems, which ARBES Technologies delivered to many significant customers especially in the areas of finance and healthcare were manifested in the positive financial result. Besides brand new implementations such as ACEMA Credit Czech or Mediaservis, these also included ongoing projects at J&T Bank, Equa Bank, Raiffeisen Leasing, Banco Rural Europa in Portugal, Equilor in Hungary or Poštová Banka in Slovakia.
The creation of a new division focusing on content processing and business process automation has also had a positive influence on the positive financial outcome. Current clients as well as new clients have shown interest in ECM and BPM type solutions.
“2012 was a successful year for our company. Increase of profit and a growing customer base only provide further proof that our solutions have the effect our clients desire,” stated Zdeněk Pilz, CEO of ARBES Technologies. “We are currently working on the development of new products and plan on expanding to foreign markets, especially to Portuguese-speaking countries where the demand is growing for our banking systems that have already proven their high quality throughout Europe and overseas,” he added.
