PDA
Internet Banking
- The
current trend on the mobile phone market offers more and more
sophisticated devices which are able to connect to the Internet (most significantly all PDAs
and Smart
phones).
These devices are usually capable of displaying standard web pages but
their displays are usually smaller than standard ones.
- PDA Internet Banking
prepares optimized pages for these devices. The
pages have an optimized structure, size, functionality and graphics for
PDAs and Smart phones. They are optimized especially for smaller
displays (graphic or text mode), joystick or roller control and touch
screens. These pages offer the full functionality of Internet banking.
The pages are easy to update them and all information is up-to-date.
- The
user
needs a PDA or a Smart phone with a web browser to access these pages.
The
standard https protocol is used for communication. The user uses the
same login
and authentication means as in the standard internet banking
application.
- Naturally, PDA communication requires a greater amount of transferred data
than
WAP and
Java communication but still significantly less than standard Internet
banking.
