The Bank of Georgia was the first bank in Georgia to offer its clients direct banking with the support of communication via the Internet in combination with multi-generation mobile banking. The ARBES OBS software platform, which allows bank clients to carry out numerous operations remotely – from online payments, payment card blocking and the setting of standing orders and collection orders to international bank transfers, currency conversions and many other types of transactions – was implemented at the bank by ARBES Technologies in 2008 during a period of just six months.

Georgia’s largest bank has witnessed a huge increase in clients and users of direct banking channels following the implementation of the Internet and Mobile Banking system from the ARBES OBS family. ARBES has recently begun new ARBES OBS Internet and Mobile Banking system development and implementation. The new system delivery in Georgia will be carried out in two stages, scheduled for completion by the end of this year. 

Atlantik Financni trhy has chosen ARBES as the supplier of a strategic solution for a new field that will be a field of activity for the group in the coming years. ARBES has begun the implementation and delivery of ARBES TA, a specialized solution for the purchase and distribution of mutual funds. 

ARBES has begun to work out a Preliminary Analysis for the implementation of the ARBES OBS banking information system at WPB Capital, a savings association. This ambitious banking institution is one of the most prominent and largest savings associations in the Czech Republic. WPB Capital is now seriously considering the implementation of a new banking system that will be able to meet the high expectations set by this ambitious institution.

ARBES, in cooperation with system integrator ICZ, has begun the implementation project of a new comprehensive banking information system for Ceska Exportni Banka.

ARBES Technologies has introduced a new version of their ARBES TOPAS system for portfolio management and trading on money and capital markets.

The 6th annual international conference - World of Information Systems 2009 – will take place in Zlín on April 20 and 21, 2009. ARBES Technologies, a leading European Information System provider, will be one of the partners of this year’s conference.

ARBES has begun work on the implementation of the ARBES OBS information system that will become the Core Banking system at JSC Home Credit Bank Kazakhstan. ARBES is replacing the current banking system in the bank. ARBES OBS will cover the entire product portfolio, the online connection to the system for providing HCI HomeR group loans and the entire area of reporting to the banking institution regulatory authorities in Kazakhstan. ARBES will cooperate with a local IT partner on the localization of the banking solution.

As supplier of the ARBES FEIS and ARBES TOPAS systems at the ING Management Services Group, ARBES is providing the group with a solution for the management of reporting activities for the system database as well as the production system database at the firm ING Management Services. Reporting for financial market regulators and to the Czech Statistical Office will be gradually automated as part of the project.
