Workflow

The Workflow module enables a company to control the flow of all types of documents. With its help, it is possible to define the processes of individual document processing (e.g. invoices received, requests, orders, etc.) and then to ensure that each document actually passes through each relevant process. To that end, the module uses tasks that it assigns to individual users or user groups, email notifications concerning new and unfulfilled tasks, the option to delegate roles and tasks to other users, collection letters and notifications for unfulfilled tasks as well as additional functions. Processes occur mainly for documents, where the process status is projected in the document status and is thus visible in other modules.

Part of document processing is typically the steps related to document acquisition (e.g. scanning, copying data, filling in internal classifications, etc.), approvals (with various approval processes depending on the financial volume or the order type), the interconnection with other documents (e.g. approved issued orders or receipt vouchers) and the creation of additional documents (e.g. accounting documents, payment orders, issued orders, etc.). Thanks to the general solution, all other steps and related agendas can be included in the processes.

The user interface of the Workflow module uses modern web technology that allows the user to work with it using all types of web browsers including browsers for mobile devices.
